Apply for DBS CheckOnce you receive your DBS check certificate, use the link to register with DVSA. You will receive a personal reference number and user ID. Keep them safe.
Register with DVSAWhen you feel ready, you can book your Part 1 test. Discuss with your trainer before you book. Cost is **£81**.
Book Part 1Don't worry if you don't pass on your first try; there is no limit to the number of attempts.
Cost is **£111**. You have only **3 attempts** to pass this test, so ensure you are ready. You need to drive at a high standard for 1 hour with no more than 6 minor faults.
Book Part 2**NOTE:** If you are waiting for your test date, you can start your 40-hour Part 3 training to get a pink badge.
This training is compulsory to get a pink badge and earn while learning. Your trainer will role-play as a learner. The cost of the Pink Badge is **£140**.

This form is for an extra **20 hours of compulsory lessons**. You must fill it out within 3 months of your pink badge being valid. If you forget, you will not be eligible for a second badge.
Part 3 is your Teaching Ability Test. The cost is **£111**. You have **3 attempts**. If you fail all 3, you must wait 2 years after your theory test to start from the beginning. If you pass, you can apply for your full ADI certificate.
